Growing Places
We offer a weekly garden volunteering programme called Growing Places. Uppertunity aims to develop the community in every way
possible and includes our members in this development.
What do we do?
We are developing our outdoor spaces to make an attractive public garden for visitors.
We grow herbs, vegetables, fruit and flowers. To promote biodiversity we try and plant a variety of native plants. We build outdoor art pieces and woodwork furniture using reclaimed materials.
Location
Our main base is in the gardens of Dudhope Castle, which we're working on developing into a multisensory garden!
