Just £5 a month could....
- Buy creative materials for wellbeing workshops.
- Enable us to buy ingredients for cooking workshops, so that people can learn to make meals independently.
- Pay for travel to social events and outdoor experiences, helping our members get out of their comfort zone and try new things.
- Help us to pay for a session with an external facilitator to teach our members a brand new skill.
- Pay for costs to run performances and exhibitions, giving new experiences.

Uppertunity is a unique place where we can come to make friends, learn new skills and have a laugh. We don’t have to pay lots to come here. It is accessible and safe for us. It helps us feel confident, social and part of a community.
Lots of the places we used to go in Dundee are closed now, so it’s really important that we have Uppertunity.

Uncertain times can make us all feel less confident in each other and less confident in ourselves. For people who already struggle to find their place in the world, this can be all the more daunting.
We provide much more than activities. We create welcoming spaces where people can discover their strengths, express themselves, develop meaningful relationships and take an active role in their community.
We are a positive space not just for members but for the whole community, from family to volunteers to external staff. If you are a part of our circle, you have our support.
