Uppertunity is a social enterprise working with adults with additional needs, learning disabilities and autism, providing skill development, confidence building and social inclusion activities. We focus on an individual’s strengths and aspirations, and then work with them in to realise their potential, leading to self-worth and independence. We do this by offering weekly community groups, meaningful volunteer roles, skills programs, counselling and social events.
Our mission is to create social change by demonstrating that everyone has strengths. Some people may need more support and attention to get there, but we all have a calling and a purpose we can serve that provides self-fulfillment.
Uppertunity was finalist in the Growth category of Tayside and Fife's Social Enterprise Awards, and Danielle won Young Entrepreneur of the Year!
Uppertunity signed up to become an official living wage employer!
The Uppertunity newsletter is back, and this time it's monthly! It will go up on the 1st of each month and can be read right here on our website.
We held our third Great Uppertunity Bake Off, and even had some special guest judges to help us out!
